Johnny Cash’s Kitchen & Saloon
Johnny Cash’s Kitchen & Saloon is located next to the Johnny Cash Museum right off Lower Broadway in Nashville, TN. This restaurant and bar pays tribute to Cash’s life from childhood to the peak of his fame.
Representing Cash’s early and simplistic life, the first floor is home to a meat-and-three style buffet by local restaurant Swett’s, one of Cash’s favorite eateries in Nashville. Neutral colors, rough textures, custom jail house bars and “church pew” benches take you back into Cash’s young life when times weren’t so easy.
Walking up to the second floor, you are instantly transported into the lavish life Cash lived in peak stardom. The second floor is full of Gothic detail, vibrant and reclaimed stained glass and custom furniture / mill work pieces. These elements are coupled with the rustic cabin feature, inspired by his home just outside of Nashville, creating this a one-of-a-kind space.
